Sokei Kumano Shrine

    This shrine is said to have been commissioned by Tojin Ohno in the 2nd year of the Yoro era, and is said to have enshrined the spirit of Kishu Kumano Daigongen, and was originally located in Uesokei Kumano. The current main shrine was rebuilt in September of the 7th year of Enpo, and retains its original form well, and is a noteworthy relic as a unique example of the design of the tomata and the form of the shrine building. The main shrine is a cultural property designated by the prefecture.
